has anyone traveled on an airplane with an electronic cigarette…specifically the Blu brand?
obviously I am roving for the holidays and was hoping to get some clear feedback. I want to know if you can bring your Blu electronic cigarette on an airplane carry on? I emailed the TSA but they haven’t gotten back to me yet. If you have traveled with your electronic cigarette and carried it on the plane please let me know.

There are no TSA regulations prohibiting electronic cigarettes from being carried onboard an aircraft in the US — but, keep in mind that many airlines may still prohibit their use while in flight. The page below, for example, is from American Airlines’ website, which notes that the use of these items while in flight is not allowed, as they are not an approved electronic device for use in flight.

Before you go spend ANY money on an electronic cig – you really need to educate yourself a small bit. There are MANY different models and prices vary by A LOT.
I’ve heard excellent and terrible things about the Blu. Then there is their TERRIBLE history on shipping.
Check out some vids on you tube – just search electronic cig or e-cig and read some forums. I find forums that are not associated with a specific brand of e-cig to be the most helpful as you get unbiased info on a wide variety of products and vendors. I like Vapersforum.com but there are many others.
There are tons of pros about the e-cig you can read up on those on the forums as I may possibly go on and on and on.
Cons – kind of a PIA now and again – but its electronic so you have to maintain it: charge the batts all the time etc.
Is it worth it – YES! 36 year smoker here – was off of tobacco cigs within 2 weeks (a excellent long learning curve) and I wasn’t even plotting on charitable up cigs – it just happened.
I would highly recommend you check it out.
      Excellent Luck and Pleased Vaping!
