In the in rank pack given with the tablets it says it is not not compulsory to smoke whilst taking them but then further down it says to set yourself a date to give up smoking in the second week of taking them. How long are you supposed to take them for and do they work ?
You are suppose to set a date to quit and trust me by that date you will have quit already. It is designed to make the nicotine not give you the high that you normally get so when you smoke it tastes aweful and you won’t want to smoke. I took them and I quit smoking. Yes they work, but you will have to try them for yourself. Every person is not the same.

Go to http://www.chantix.com…about $170.00 per month..I know people on it and their med. insurance picked up all but $33.00..They swear by this and have not smoked in over 50 days with no desire to…It might be the answer for alot of people..excellent Luck

do the quit smoking pills really work? ( wellbutrin, zyban, chantix, are there more? ) any personal experience with these or others would be very helpful.

why are the new stop smoking tablets free on the NHS yet to get cancer drugs its a lottery?
cancer drugs are only available depending on which health authority you live in. some cancer drugs you have to buy privately because of NICE guidelines

CLIVE H err i donr work as i’m 33 this year but have to claim disablity as i have mental health problems. any one who scoffs or mocks my condition should take a long walk off a small pier. like to be so called “well” but in life i drew a small straw
i guess its a matter of cost-if cancer drugs were as cheap as stop smoking tablets everyone would get them
and why shouldnt people be able to get free smoking tablets on the national health- after all its smokers money that have kept it going
Has anyone tried the new stop smoking pill chantix?
I have been taking it and stopped smoking about a month after starting it. You have to want to quit or its not going to work and after about a month of taking it, it loses its potency, so it probably wont work if you havent quit within the first month. The best thing to do is just toss the cigarettes away sometime during the second week of behavior. Excellent Luck.
